Lux Veritatus: A thought concerning our "ideal universe"

Lux Veritatus: A thought concerning our "ideal universe": "A critique of science (as of common sense) assigns each concept its place in reason: every empirical and logical belief seems warranted - it was for good reason that reason cogitated an ideal world, a task that would have been avoided if appearance made a “practical” universe."

Time as a measurement: Is it arbitrary?

It seems like a fundamental question; that if time exists, whether it is (merely) a "measurement", and whether that makes it arbitrary. But such an approach to time would be erroneous, because only the act of measuring is arbitrary: time is not. All things are measurable [in theory if not practice], and not measuring (or even acknowledging) time, doesn't affect its existence [or non-existence]. One can at least observe change, so that if one denies time, then the precipitators for change must be otherwise explained. Do we explain it as a change-interval? Or a property of distance? What?

The Absolute

If the Absolute was not relative to anything, what value could it have?
